The Summer Resource Fair is a free event featuring representatives from 100 summer programs, camps, and services for youth in grades K-8. The Summer Resource Fair has been hosted by the SF Department of Children, Youth, and their Families, the SF Recreation & Parks Department, and the SF Public Library for over 20 years.

Comprehensive Programs are always the largest group of exhibitors at the Summer Resource Fair. These programs spark curiosity, nurture social and emotional growth, and reinforce learning in creative and engaging ways. Comprehensive programs also encourage physical activity, promote healthy eating, inspire exploration of the world, and help young people build meaningful connections with supportive adults and peers.

Agapeland Summer Program

Weary parents, look no further! Agapeland is a comprehensive six-week program for K-8th graders. Students will thrive in group activities and fun outings as they learn about cultural appreciation, environmental care, fitness, and more. Their lively staff ensure your child’s summer will be filled with joy — all in one place!

Aim High

Aim High is a 5-week summer program for middle school students offered at no cost to students and their families. The perfect mix of academic classes (STEM, Humanities, Issues & Choices), afternoon sports and activities, and field trips led by a dedicated team of teachers passionate about student belonging and success. Aim High is the ideal mix of fun, community, and exploration — just the right combination to prepare for the next school year!

All Stars Mandarin Center

All Stars Mandarin Center offers immersive Mandarin language programs for children from pre-K to 9th graders. Their summer camp combines language learning with cultural experiences, arts, and interactive activities, fostering fluency and a love for Chinese traditions. Join them for an unforgettable journey of fun and growth!

Angel Island Camp

Here’s your chance to experience over 40 years of summer camp tradition and the magic that makes Angel Island Camp the camp that kids always come back to. Angel Island Camp is one the Bay Area’s best known and oldest summer day camps, operating since 1977. Each week, there is a new theme with different activities so that you can attend all summer long! Campers will discover the island through games, crafts, science and will explore its many trails and historic hideaways. Campers will be grouped by grade, for grades 1–7.

Aventuras

Verano de Aventuras is a Spanish Immersion Summer Camp based on Experiential Learning, featuring a combination of fun and interactive activities in the areas of visual arts, STEAM, music and movement, mindfulness, culture and community. Aventuras offers indoor and outdoor programming at two locations, plus supervised free and guided play at nearby playgrounds, and a weekly field trip to local SF parks for games, hiking, and lots of exploration.

Bert Hsu Academy Summer School + Camp

Bert Hsu Academy K-8 Summer Program, located on Potrero Hill, combines academics & summer fun. In the morning, math, English & Mandarin Chinese are taught. In the afternoon, students participate in sports, cultural activities and field trips.

Booker T. Washington Community Service Center

For 105 years, Booker T. has been a cornerstone of resilience, self-determination, and joy in San Francisco’s Fillmore. As the Bay Area’s oldest Black-led and serving nonprofit, Booker T. has nurtured over five generations of Black San Franciscans, fostering intergenerational bonds and championing equity and inclusion. From early childhood care to senior wellness programs, Booker T. ensures that every person who walks through the doors is met with dignity, respect, and unwavering support

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco

Join Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco for summer 2025! Each summer the Boys & Girls Clubs in San Francisco are proud to provide a range of high-quality wraparound services that support all youth. Programs include field trips, sports & fitness (including athletic leagues and Junior Giants), creative arts, swimming, performing arts, special teen programming including internships and career exposure, and more!

Breakthrough San Francisco

Breakthrough San Francisco is a free program for motivated San Francisco students with limited educational opportunities who want to attend college. Based at SF Day School, Breakthrough San Francisco offers academic and elective classes, homework support, community building, college advising, and much more. Students commit to their program for eight years, until high school graduation.

Breakthrough Summerbridge

Breakthrough Summerbridge is a tuition-free program empowering middle school students through academic enrichment and advocacy. Students engage in a rigorous three-year journey, including summer classes in math, science, and humanities, and year-round programs with high school counseling and socio-emotional workshops. Students may remain with Breakthrough Summerbridge through high school to access their college access program, fostering confident, college-ready leaders.

Camp Galileo

Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Camp Galileo, full of engaging STEAM projects, collaborative design challenges and classic camp fun. Grounded in the acclaimed Galileo Innovation Approach, their hands-on activities and outdoor games cultivate essential skills — including collaboration, perseverance and creative confidence — that last long after summer ends.

Camp SFS at The San Francisco School

Camp SFS offers a choice-based summer day camp on their urban campus while still offering unparalleled access to outdoor natural spaces. Campers design their day with activities like crafts, sports, water play, a mud kitchen, and an arcade, all while building community. With a home-made lunch served daily, kids explore, create, and play, gaining confidence, resilience, and lifelong memories!

Charity Cultural Services Center

CCSC Summer Camp in Chinatown bridges academic gaps, builds community, and is fun! Mornings feature small group lessons in English, math, social-emotional learning, and art instructed by carefully selected camp counselors, while afternoons are filled with games, physical education, arts & crafts, and library time. Weekly field trips around San Francisco add to the adventure, creating a memorable and enriching summer experience for youth.

Children’s After School Arts (CASA)

CASA is a legacy afterschool and summer program with a focus on art, social justice, and social emotional wellness. CASA is dedicated to guiding San Francisco’s youth toward open expression, expansive hearts, and questioning minds. CASA provides a safe, comfortable, and inspiring environment in which children in Kindergarten through 8th grade can play, discover, explore & connect. This summer, CASA campers will be treated to classes in a wide variety of artistic disciplines led by their team of talented teachers. Sessions will include creative engineering, sculptural installation, fashion design, acting, improvisation, playwriting, and more!

Community Education Partnerships

For 14 years, Community Education Partnerships has served the Bay’s students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. CEP provides McKinney-Vento students in grades 6–12 free one-on-one tutoring in all subjects that follows the student wherever they prefer to meet (whether in-person or virtual), school supplies (available year-round), weekly homework clubs and Summer of STEAM activities, and enrollment and administrative assistance.

FACES SF

FACES SF empowers San Francisco families through child development, family support, and workforce services. They provide quality early childhood education, job training, and career placement to promote economic stability. Their programs focus on breaking barriers to success by offering comprehensive resources, personalized support, and community partnerships that help individuals and families thrive.

Family Connections Centers

Family Connections Centers is a family resource center that provides multilingual, community-based programs that foster new skills and growth. Summer Academic Enrichment offers kindergarten through fifth graders hands-on learning and excitement with activities in technology, math, cooking, science, engineering, and the arts. Kids read daily and take weekly library visits and field trips across the Bay, sparking curiosity and a love for learning.

Fantastical Adventures Camps

Bringing your favorite fantasy stories and books to life! From Wizarding at Harry Potter Camp to the land of Oz, Fantastical Adventures has full weeks of adventures planned. This summer’s lineup includes themes of Pokemon, Percy Jackson, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Oz. The day starts with supervised ferry service from the San Francisco Ferry Building to the camp location in Tiburon.

Filipino Education Center’s Galing Bata Program

For 23 years, FEC Galing Bata has empowered San Francisco’s youth and families, especially Filipino immigrants, Filipino Americans, English learners, and low-income households, through culturally responsive programs. Its mission is to provide quality guidance, care and protection while fostering healthy bicultural identities, integrating Filipino language, arts, values, and history, promoting multicultural learning, and strengthening community partnerships.

First Chinese Baptist Church — Day Camp

Located in the heart of Chinatown, FCBC Day Camp has been offering a fun-filled summer experience for decades! Running from June 9th to July 11th, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, this 5-week program provides a safe, engaging environment where campers build friendships and enjoy meaningful, age-appropriate activities. Join for a summer of growth, fun, and community!

Golden Gate District Scouting

Scouting offers leadership and outdoor programs for boys and girls of all ages! Cub Scouts (ages 6–10) participate in hands-on interactive activities. Troop members (10–18) go camping, hiking, and explore special interests through merit badge programs. Sea Scouts (14–21) sail, row, and explore other maritime activities on the Bay! All programs offer summer experiences including day and overnight activities.

Good Samaritan Family Resource Center

Good Sam offers free programs that empower youth to thrive year-round. From STEM to art, soccer to gardening, their K-5, 6–8, and 9–12 grade camps provide skill-building, community, and belonging. Tailored for all students, including newcomers, their programs inspire creativity, identity, and a vision for the future — ensuring access and opportunity for every young person.

Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF)

Summer Camp at the JCCSF is where kids shine bright! They offer a wide variety of unique camp options that will appeal to kids of all ages, abilities and aspirations.

Katherine Michiels School

Unlock Your POWERS at KMS Summer Camp! Dive into a summer of discovery and fun where kids explore the individual Power of Me and the collective Powers of We! Campers explore their POWERS — observation, curiosity, creativity, storytelling, problem-solving, kindness, and mindfulness. From gardening, art making, science experiments, cooking, games, to tinkering in the workshop, each day is packed with hands-on topics of discovery motivated by the curiosities and interests of the kids.

La Scuola International School

La Scuola International School, the first Reggio Emilia, IB, and Italian Immersion school, offers joyful Summer Camps for Preschool to Grade 5. This summer, their five-week program features exciting activities with top enrichment providers like Rabbit Hole Theater and Culinary Artistas. Each week fosters skill development and lasting memories.

Mariposa Kids

Mariposa Kids invites children ages 5–11 to a world of fun, friendship, and the freedom to PLAY. Mariposa Kids’ mission is to support & inspire children’s natural curiosity and independence through free play, fostering vibrant communities that support social-emotional growth. Mi Escuelita en Español

Answer the Call of Summer with Mi Escuelita en Español! Their Outdoor Summer Camp is crafted for kids ages 2.5–7 to explore Spanish while connecting with nature! With Mi Escuelita en Español, children will dive into language through music, storytelling, arts and crafts, sports, and cultural experiences.

NatureBridge Coastal Camp

Coastal Camp is an outdoor summer day camp located just north of San Francisco in the beautiful Marin Headlands. Each day at Coastal Camp provides hands-on activities in subjects such as Marine Biology, Coastal Ecology, Conservation, and Nature Study. Coastal Camp’s focus on Social Emotional Learning through experiential education, self discovery, and play allows children to grow as individuals, community members, and environmental stewards.

Potrero Hill Neighborhood House

The Potrero Hill Neighborhood Summer In the City+ program hosts a fun-filled year of enriched studies and activities for ages 6–18. Summer hours are Monday — Friday, 9- 5, and after school hours are Monday — Friday 2–6pm. Summer in the City+ provides sliding scale fees to ensure affordability. Their program is unique because during the summer, they balance daily field trips that allow participants to experience the amenities of San Francisco and the Bay Area with academics and enrichment.

Project Avary

For over 25 years, Project Avary has supported children of incarcerated parents, addressing their unique challenges through mental health support, leadership development, and community empowerment. With year-round retreats and a summer leadership camp, the program builds resilience, fosters emotional well-being, and equips youth with skills to break cycles of incarceration and become leaders in their communities.

Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC)

Since 1991, the Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) in San Francisco has been the go-to hub for Samoans and other Pacific Islanders. Originally created to support San Francisco Pacific Islander migrants, for the past 33 years, SCDC has grown into a bustling place that offers a range of services for everyone, from kids to elders, making waves across the Bay Area.

Southeast Asian Development Center - Academic Support Project

Join SEADC for a summer of learning and fun! Their K-8 summer program combines engaging academics with enriching activities, preventing summer learning loss while building a vibrant, tight-knit community. Over the course of 8 weeks, youth continue developing reading and writing skills, participate in creative STEAM workshops, explore their cultural identities, go on weekly field trips around the city, and much more.

Steve & Kate’s Camp

When you trust kids, they trust themselves. Since 1980 Steve & Kate’s Camp has trusted kids to choose their own activities and plan their own days in real-time. Whether campers are designing, building, coding, creating, baking, dancing, playing, eating, sewing, skipping — it’s all on their own schedule. Because when you empower children to make their own choices and be their own bosses, the children discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–all while learning to make course corrections and trust themselves as they go.

Stratford School

Summer Adventure Camp for Kids

Since 1969, the Summer Adventure Camp for Kids (SACK) program has been serving the San Francisco Bay Area, providing a safe summer environment for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grades. The SACK staff is comprised mostly of high school and college students who have been trained to supervise children in a Christian atmosphere and offering a compassionate and caring environment. SACK provides time for stories, music, reading, math, computers, art and field trips.

SummerGATE

SummerGATE provides exciting, hands-on STEAM classes (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) to K–8 students in San Francisco, taught by credentialed teachers who inspire a love of learning. Their engaging program offers courses such as Coding/App Building, 3D Printing, Engineering, Guitar, Theater, Sports, Photography, Cooking, and much more! Come join them at SummerGATE June 16–August 8 for an amazing summer filled with fun, learning, and exploration!

The Salvation Army Kroc Center — Camp Kroc

Parents can have peace of mind when sending their child to a safe and interactive camp at The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Camp Kroc. This 8-week themed, comprehensive day camp for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade integrates academics, arts and crafts, games, and field trips into an unforgettable experience — all at an affordable price. Students ages 8 and older will also have the opportunity to participate in an optional overnight camp at The Salvation Army’s Camp Redwood Glen in Scotts Valley, California.

The Sequoia Village Schoolhouse

Summer Buddies at Sequoia Village Schoolhouse provides an inclusive camp experience for children ages 4–8 while supporting social language and play skills. Their programming is designed for students with or without mild to moderate speech delays, mild to moderate ASD and other social or language-related disabilities. Featuring a 3:1 student to teacher ratio, Summer Buddies prioritizes engaging, high-interest activities in a small-group setting.

UP ON TOP

UP ON TOP’s mission is to provide year-round, tuition-free after-school and summer programs, consisting of academic assistance, enrichment opportunities, recreational activities, neighborhood exploration, community service, and family support services to pre-K-5th grade students and their families. Open to all, Up On Top proudly provides services in San Francisco’s Tenderloin & Western Addition neighborhoods in an inclusive, culturally-diverse, and respectful manner to participants, families, staff, and partners.

Wah Mei

Wah Mei-Zing Summer Camp is child-centered and dedicated to the development of the “whole child” within a Chinese — English bilingual framework. Wah Mei prepares children to be school-ready global-citizens in a fun and developmentally appropriate environment. They utilize a weekly themed curriculum, with an emphasis on creative expression, physical activity, Chinese culture, and social-emotional learning. Activities include STEM projects, cooking classes, arts and crafts, language arts, outdoor games, martial arts, dance, field trips, and more, all reflecting the exploration of Chinese culture.

YMCA of Greater San Francisco

YMCA Greater San Francisco offers Bay Area camps! Choose from day camps or overnight adventures at Camp Jones Gulch. Explore STEAM, art, nature & more! Camps foster social & physical well-being for all ages.

Youth 1st

Youth 1st is a comprehensive afterschool and summer program offering diverse activities, including academic support, arts, sports, STEM projects, life skills workshops, and skill classes such as cooking, karate, meditation, boxing, hip-hop and skateboarding. Youth 1st is designed for children of all ages, fostering their creativity, teamwork, and learning in a safe, engaging environment.
