The Summer Resource Fair is a free event featuring representatives from 100 summer programs, camps, and services for youth in grades K-8. The Summer Resource Fair has been hosted by the SF Department of Children, Youth, and their Families, the SF Recreation & Parks Department, and the SF Public Library for over 20 years.

Bay Area Shakespeare Camps

For over 30 years, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival has offered Bay Area Shakespeare Camps to kids ages 7 to 13. Campers engage with each other in activities ranging from theater games and basic acting skills to more specialized training and exploration of the themes and language of Shakespeare, culminating in a performance for family and friends. Campers learn from teaching artists who are working actors, stage managers, directors, and designers. Experience welcome but not required!

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco

Join Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco for summer 2025! Each summer the Boys & Girls Clubs in San Francisco are proud to provide a range of high-quality wraparound services that support all youth. Programs include field trips, sports & fitness (including athletic leagues and Junior Giants), creative arts, swimming, performing arts, special teen programming including internships and career exposure, and more!

Camp La ChupaRosa

Camp La ChupaRosa is a Spanish-bilingual camp in McLaren Park for magical beings ages 6–10 who want to explore nature while learning to care for plant allies through play and hands-on learning. This unique camp setting focuses on going deep on topics including: nature, land stewardship, art, herbalism & magic. With max 10 kids in each group and 2 fully credential teachers, this is a unique opportunity for outdoor play based learning and fun.

Camp SFS at The San Francisco School

Camp SFS Specialty Arts camps inspire young creators to follow their passions and bring their ideas to life. Campers explore hands-on projects like building riverside villages in Riveropolis or crafting treasures they’ll cherish for years. With a playful, collaborative approach, kids dive into the joy of making, sharing, and celebrating their art, all while forming meaningful connections with their camp community.

Cartoon Art Museum

Explore the world of cartooning at the Cartoon Art Museum! Their Cartoon Camps help kids 10 to 15 years old find their own artistic style, from books to comics to manga. Don’t miss their monthly workshops, open to ages 7 and up, where you can learn a variety of cartooning skills. Celebrate the rich history of cartoon art, and be part of a universal community that inspires imagination across generations.

Cazadero Music Camp

For more than 65 years, Cazadero has offered a dynamic overnight music camp that strikes a thoughtful balance between in-depth music education and summer camp fun. They provide a nurturing, inspirational environment for young musicians ages 9–18. Caz is located in Sonoma County where young musicians learn together under a canopy of spectacular redwood trees. Musical offerings include Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Piano, and Guitar. Scholarships and sibling discounts available. Make Caz part of your summer in 2025!

Children’s After School Arts (CASA)

CASA is a legacy afterschool and summer program with a focus on art, social justice, and social emotional wellness. CASA is dedicated to guiding San Francisco’s youth toward open expression, expansive hearts, and questioning minds. CASA provides a safe, comfortable, and inspiring environment in which children in Kindergarten through 8th grade can play, discover, explore & connect. This summer, CASA campers will be treated to classes in a wide variety of artistic disciplines led by their team of talented teachers. Sessions will include creative engineering, sculptural installation, fashion design, acting, improvisation, playwriting, and more!

Community Music Center

Community Music Center (CMC) is a nonprofit music school and performance space with branches in the Mission and Richmond Districts. CMC makes high-quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, regardless of financial means. providing the largest tuition assistance program of its kind in the country. The school offers classes, lessons, and camps in a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, blues, Latin, pop, folk, rock, and western classical. CMC also presents free and low-cost events and workshops, and provides affordable spaces for students and community members to rehearse and present their own work.

Culinary Artistas

Culinary Artistas’ summer camp is based on a simple tenet: food is a language that connects us to each other and the environment. Campers create wholesome, multicultural recipes, explore flavors, and see STEAM principles come to life. Through intuitive cooking, creating, and creative problem-solving, kids build confidence in and out of the kitchen, gaining life skills that enhance their connection to health, creativity, and culture.

Golden Bridges School in Partnership with Hawk Creek Farm

Farm Camp at Hawk Creek Farm is run from a 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. Farm Camp provides an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Their day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, nature inspired arts and crafts, and loads of time for free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

Golden Gate District Scouting

Scouting offers leadership and outdoor programs for boys and girls of all ages! Cub Scouts (ages 6–10) participate in hands-on interactive activities. Troop members (10–18) go camping, hiking, and explore special interests through merit badge programs. Sea Scouts (14–21) sail, row, and explore other maritime activities on the Bay! All programs offer summer experiences including day and overnight activities.

Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF)

Summer Camp at the JCCSF is where kids shine bright! They offer a wide variety of unique camp options that will appeal to kids of all ages, abilities and aspirations.

Katherine Michiels School

Unlock Your POWERS at KMS Summer Camp! Dive into a summer of discovery and fun where kids explore the individual Power of Me and the collective Powers of We! Campers explore their POWERS — observation, curiosity, creativity, storytelling, problem-solving, kindness, and mindfulness. From gardening, art making, science experiments, cooking, games, to tinkering in the workshop, each day is packed with hands-on topics of discovery motivated by the curiosities and interests of the kids.

Kid Stock Inc.

Kid Stock is a San Francisco-based performing arts organization that offers classes and camps for students grades K-8! Kid Stock aims to help every child build their confidence and find their voice. From the first script read to the final curtain call, their programs are designed to foster individuality in a supportive team environment where kids can explore their singing, dancing and acting talents while developing an appreciation for the arts!

La Scuola International School

La Scuola International School, the first Reggio Emilia, IB, and Italian Immersion school, offers joyful Summer Camps for Preschool to Grade 5. This summer, their five-week program features exciting activities with top enrichment providers like Rabbit Hole Theater and Culinary Artistas. Each week fosters skill development and lasting memories.

Madame Allegra

Veteran French/English bilingual elementary teacher and lifelong musician Madame Allegra supports families in creating and implementing homeschool curricula, provides in-person tutoring in all core subjects in English and French, and offers French language enrichment as well as opera and classical music appreciation. She tailors instruction to each individual’s interests and strengths, and she always finds the play in the hard work of learning.

Mi Escuelita en Español

Answer the Call of Summer with Mi Escuelita en Español! Their Outdoor Summer Camp is crafted for kids ages 2.5–7 to explore Spanish while connecting with nature! With Mi Escuelita en Español, children will dive into language through music, storytelling, arts and crafts, sports, and cultural experiences.

Music, Art and Adventure

Music, Art & Adventure offers fun & meaningful outdoor camps for kids grades K-5. Their mission is developing a “Sense of Place” through exploration of Nature & The Arts. Their programs center on building friendships and community as campers play in nature, make music together, create art, & have visits from local guest artists/musicians. Music, Art & Adventure is a small business founded in 2021, based in San Francisco. Limited scholarships are available.

Performing Arts Workshop

Performing Arts Workshop is a Bay Area, BIPOC-led nonprofit organization established in 1965 to equalize access to arts and arts education and help young people develop critical thinking, creative expression, socio-emotional learning, media literacy, and essential life skills. They work with active Teaching Artists to engage youth through music, dance, writing, theater, spoken word poetry, mixed media, and visual/media arts.

Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC)

Since 1991, the Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) in San Francisco has been the go-to hub for Samoans and other Pacific Islanders. Originally created to support San Francisco Pacific Islander migrants, for the past 33 years, SCDC has grown into a bustling place that offers a range of services for everyone, from kids to elders, making waves across the Bay Area.

San Francisco High School of the Arts

This summer, give your child an unforgettable experience at San Francisco High School of the Arts (HSArts)! Designed for ages 5 and up, their vibrant camps offer programs in visual arts, dance intensives, and more. From 9 AM to 4 PM, campers enjoy activities like dancing, drawing, singing, and writing. Guided by experienced instructors, they explore creativity, build skills, and make lasting memories.

Steve & Kate’s Camp

When you trust kids, they trust themselves. Since 1980 Steve & Kate’s Camp has trusted kids to choose their own activities and plan their own days in real-time. Whether campers are designing, building, coding, creating, baking, dancing, playing, eating, sewing, skipping — it’s all on their own schedule. Because when you empower children to make their own choices and be their own bosses, the children discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–all while learning to make course corrections and trust themselves as they go.

Yerba Buena Gardens Festival

Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents FREE outdoor concerts and events in downtown San Francisco. From June to August, YBG Festival’s Children’s Garden Series presents participatory live shows catered for children under 10 and their adults. Each show is about 30 minutes and features excellent performers in puppetry, music, dance, acrobatics, clowning and more. The Children’s Garden Series is perfect for kids in the SF summertime.

YMCA of Greater San Francisco

YMCA Greater San Francisco offers Bay Area camps! Choose from day camps or overnight adventures at Camp Jones Gulch. Explore STEAM, art, nature & more! Camps foster social & physical well-being for all ages.

Young Actors’ Theater Camp

Developed by a team of amazing instructors, Young Actors’ Theater Camp’s multi-award winning programs focus on discovering and developing each student’s talents in ALL the areas of the performing arts and beyond. Their classes are all taught by working actors, singers, directors, dancers, casting directors, writers, and designers who bring their professional experiences and inspirations directly to the classroom for ALL levels of experience and interest.

Youth 1st

Youth 1st is a comprehensive afterschool and summer program offering diverse activities, including academic support, arts, sports, STEM projects, life skills workshops, and skill classes such as cooking, karate, meditation, boxing, hip-hop and skateboarding. Youth 1st is designed for children of all ages, fostering their creativity, teamwork, and learning in a safe, engaging environment. Youth 1st promotes healthy development, social-emotional growth, and provides meals/snacks, ensuring accessibility for working families and enhancing community connections. Youth 1st campers attend weekly field trips to explore and have fun in the City.

YouthSF’s innovative program is internationally recognized and highly acclaimed, but what they are most proud of is that students LOVE their activities!YouthSF is best known for their STEM/Media & Maker Arts projects, but they also have a unique multi-sport program for students of all ability levels as well as many other engaging activities. YouthSF is part maker-space, science lab, gym, toy store, playground and ALL FUN!
